Department of Human Services Aging Division
The Aging Services Division (ASD) helps develop systems
to support independence and protect the quality of life
of older persons and promotes citizen involvement in
planning and delivering services. ASD builds coalitions
with local agencies, businesses and communities to
develop employment and volunteer programs for older
Oklahomans, targeting senior citizens as both providers
and recipients. ASD promotes health care accessibility
through annual advocacy campaigns to address issues of
elderly Medicaid recipients, case management for
Medicaid recipients over age 60 and health promotion
campaigns.

Oklahoma Indian Council on Aging
The overall purpose of the Oklahoma Indian Council on
Aging is to operate exclusively for charitable and
education purposes, to bring about improved,
comprehensive services to the Oklahoma Indian Elderly.

Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance
Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) was established through the
Mental Health Law of 1953, although publicly supported
services to Oklahomans with mental illness date back to
early statehood. Today, the three principal realms of
ODMHSAS activity are mental health, substance abuse, and
domestic violence/sexual assault services.

Information and Referral System
OASIS provides a statewide information and referral
service that can help Oklahomans with special needs and
other families in need find community resources. Anyone
needing help can call the toll-free number: 800-426-2747
or search their online directory. OASIS has a database
of thousands of agencies, organizations and programs
throughout the state, and can help people find the
services they need in their area. OASIS also has
listings of national organizations and agencies as well
as local support groups.
Oklahoma
Health Care Authority
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority is the State of
Oklahoma's Medicaid Agency. It administers SoonerCare
and other health related programs. The purpose of this
website is to provide health and medical policy
information to Medicaid consumers and providers.
PartnerShips for Aging (PSA)
PartnerShips for Aging (PSA) provides professionals in
the field of aging with educational and networking
opportunities as well as information to assist them in
their task of improving the lives of adults. Since 2001,
PAS has positively affected the quality of life for
elders in the expanded area through improved services,
enhanced training opportunities, and the power of
regional grassroots collaboration.

YourOklahoma provides one-stop access to state and local
government: a centralized electronic portal where
citizens and businesses can easily access government
information and services from multiple agencies.
YourOklahoma is a collaborative effort between the
Oklahoma Office of State Finance and NIC Oklahoma to
create an Internet gateway facilitating interaction with
Oklahoma government electronically.
